Stuffs!

We'll discuss the VMAs later tonight.

First up, I would be remiss if I did not point out that my former protege, the lovely Heather Burnett aka the Paper Cut, has another piece in The Scene, found in the A section of the Windsor Star. The subject? Net Neutrality. She makes Daddy proud.

Also worth noting is the Harvesting the FAM festival is this weekend, and the Fabulous Ictus Band will be making an appearance this Saturday at Phog, around 9.15 [a nice early show for y'all] but there's tons to see and do, so you should get off your asses and support what these people are trying to do for the city.

Oh, and if you havn't been too caught up with all the sexiness of American politics like I have, Stephen Harper dissolved parliament, sending all of us to the polls October 14. Yawn. Yet our sexy neighbours to the South might still play a role, with UofT prof Robert Bothwell claiming if Obama surges in the States, it could help Dion here. Interesting. But still boring.

The EFF claims over 4,000 videos critical of the Church of Scientology got C&D'd and taken down by YouTube admins on the weekend. Then they went back up. But just think if they hadn't!

Hey kidnappers, if you kidnap someone who knows how to use a firearm, don't put your gun down next to them while you text message your demands. Oh, Florida.
