The Return

I originally had no intention of talking about any of this, Windsor, but then The Star felt the need to do a story on it to spice up "The Scene" page last week, wherein Pub GM Jason Codling blamed us for making the dress code controversy into a racial issue.

So yeah, them's was fightin' words.

Things learned making a video solo:

1. It can be done on a digicam.
1(a). But the lighting can be tricky.
1(b). The video gets really aliased when it's dark.
2. Writing a script vs. freestyling = six of one vs. half dozen of the other.
3. Font sizes on a slate are tinier than you think once the video compresses.
4. For a first shot, it ain't bad.

So there ya go. Saturday/Sunday bonus for you. Enjoy your Thanksgivings, everyone. I'll be spending it with the in-laws, trying to plaster a smile on my face and endure the pointed inquiries regarding why I don't have a proper day-in/day-out job yet, and why I'm so fat.

So how's the fundraising for the Great Common/Trail Love-In going?

good work chief, I miss the Trail.

We're looking into the death treats this week - it'll be interesting to see what we find out.

Hopefully we get a chance to talk with that young reporter at the Star, as well.
